Because as we all know, all that really matters in life is taking the perfect picture.
Well, to some people anyway.
And that’s definitely the case for Triana Lavey, who has spent $15,000 on plastic surgery with the aim of always looking picture perfect.
The 38-year-old had a chin implant, nose job, cheek-defining fat grafts and regular botox, and now claims to have the face she always thought she had.
The LA-native told ABC’s Nightline: ‘I look like myself, but Photoshopped.’

Ms Lavey, who’s a talent manager for public relations company uFluencer Group, explained that she only became obsessed with her looks following the rise of social media.
‘It skews our perception of how we should look I think it’s making ourselves hold ourselves to a higher unrealistic standard.
‘When you do see a picture of yourself hanging out, your instinct is, “oh I wish I were tanner or not wrinkled” or “wish this” and this is a natural response due to the culture we’re gearing towards.’
