A COUPLE from a southern Brisbane suburb are disturbing their neighbours with loud screams of pleasure.

Angry Macgregor residents have complained to police last night that howls of ecstasy from next door had broken their slumber.
The angry neighbours said they overhear the loud sex with “lots of screaming” regularly in the morning and late at night.
Police say if they receive a noise complaint, it doesn’t really matter what’s causing the noise complaint.

It is not unknown for people to be charged over loud sex.

In the UK, a sex-crazed housewife banned from making too much noise during sex was arrested for breaching the order.
Caroline Cartwright, 47, was served the anti-social behaviour order (Asbo) in the UK in 2010 following 25 noise complaints to police.
The order came after magistrates found her guilty of breaking an initial noise abatement order.
“I’m not going to stop,” she told the Daily Mail. “I’ve been making the same noises since the Asbo was imposed, and this morning, we were making noises for three hours.
“I can’t stop making noise during sex, it’s unnatural to not make any noises, and I don’t think that I’m particularly loud.’”
She was spared prison.
In the US in 2009, a man was stabbed by his roommate after complaining he had sex too loudly.
Russell Willis Shepherd Jr., 40, was charged with second-degree assault and battery after his 58-year-old roommate was found with stab wounds in his hand at their Myrtle Beach apartment in South Carolina.
The victim said he had returned home to find Mr Shepherd having very loud sex with a 39-year-old woman.
He left the apartment briefly to smoke a cigarette and when he returned he asked Mr Shepherd and the woman to be quiet. He was then attacked.
