Now, you have a new solution where one can choose the WiFi connection based on reviews.

A new app called Rotten WiFi has been published on the Apple store. Using the app, you can start rating the quality of the WiFi you have been using. The app runs a speed check on a WiFi you are connected to and based on the result you can rate it between 1 to 10, with 0 indicating no Internet at all, 1-3 meaning a rotten connection, 4-6 being fair, 7-8 denoting good, and 9-10 implying excellent.

It will then provide other users, especially tourists and visiting businessmen with an indication of whether they are likely to experience similar issues when visiting the same place.

According to the level of irritation a customer feels, Rotten WiFi app presents Internet user with an appropriate quirky phrase and sarcastic caricature reflecting the network connection.

The range of funky sayings will depend on the quality of Internet network and will vary from excellent (‘Unreal!’) to rotten (‘Your credit card expires when ordering online’) and even no connection at all.
