Five Dead During Riot In Abuja

Recent reports from AIT, has revealed that five people have lost their lives in an ongoing riot caused by a motorcycle accident in Dei Dei, Abuja.
It was also reported that over 35 vehicles were destroyed in the incident. According to reports, an accident which involved a motorcycle running down a woman by the roadside is what sparked the riot. There was a heated conversation between onlookers and sympathizers which led to a fight between residents from around the area. To defend himself, the motorcyclist stabbed five people.
Angry residents in the area began fighting, smashing vehicles and burning houses. The chaos led to businessmen in the area closing their stores and scampering for safety.
Policemen have been called upon to restore peace. Security operatives in the area also sustained injuries while attempting to calm the fighters down.
All efforts to reach the Abuja police to confirm this report has proved abortive.
Just a few days back, a violent incident which occurred in Lagos Island, Lagos led to the death of four people including a politician. The tragic incident happened as a result of a riot that broke out after a political rally held by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos.

Nigerian celebs stepped out yesterday evening, all dressed up in African attires to the premiere of a movie, October 1.

The movie, is an upcoming 2014 Nigerian dark psychological thriller film written by Tunde Babalola, produced and directed by Kunle Afolayan.
The movie which stars Sadiq Daba, Kehinde Bankole, Bimbo Manuel, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Fabian Adeoye Lojede, DavidBailie, Nick Rhys, and introducing Demola Adedoyin and Deola Sagoe narrates the story of Danladi Waziri (Sadiq Daba), a police officer from Northern Nigeria who is posted to a remote town of Akote in Western Nigeria to investigate the frequent female murder cases in the community and have the mystery solved before the Nigerian flag is raised on October 1, Nigeria’s Independence Day.
The film which received sponsorships from various bigwigs like the Lagos State Government, Toyota, Elizade Motors and Sovereign Trust Insurance was shot in Lagos and Ondo State for a period of over forty days after four months of pre-production. The film was premiered yesterday 28th of September after series of postponements.

While syndrome itself is not life threatening, the compulsive eating and resulting weight gain can be. That is why restricting a child’s diet is a particularly important part of managing their condition.
